What makes air roasted coffee different?
Most roasters use heated metal drums. We use a fluid-bed air roaster that suspends every bean on a stream of hot air, roasting them evenly from the inside out. The chaff gets carried away during roasting instead of burning into the bean. The result is a noticeably cleaner, smoother cup with no bitterness.
Is your coffee low acid?
Yes. Air roasting naturally reduces the acids that cause stomach discomfort. Many of our customers who had given up on coffee tell us they can enjoy ours again without any trouble. Our Haiti Hope Rising is our lowest acid option and a great place to start if you have a sensitive stomach.
