This is the 5-pound bulk version of Evening Grace, designed for offices, churches, ministries, and households that want decaf in quantity without sacrificing flavor. The coffee is the same Mexican single origin we ship in our 12-ounce bag, decaffeinated with the Mountain Water Process. Mountain Water Process is a chemical-free decaffeination method developed in Mexico that uses pure water from the Pico de Orizaba mountain to remove more than 99.9 percent of caffeine while preserving the bean's flavor compounds. No solvents touch the bean. The underlying Mexican coffee is washed-process, which produces a clean, transparent cup. We air-roast to a medium development that pulls out the milk chocolate, orange, brown sugar, and fig notes. The result is a 5-pound bag of decaf that actually tastes like coffee instead of the flat, hollow flavor that chemical decaf often produces. Ships within 2 to 3 days of roast, with the roast date printed on the bag.
